13 business units: these are rented by people who either directly provide a service to the community or who are from the community.

Units provide a range of services including: Job hunting, CV writing from the Council's Employment Training Team and Want2Work, Health Visiting and other health services from the ABM NHS Trust, Castle Care Ltd, Computer Recycling by the Council's Employment Training Team, support for the blind and visually impaired from Swansea and Gower Talking Magazine, Sports Massage from Mike Aspland and we are glad to have artist Rob Conybear as a long standing resident.

Jobshop (Want 2 Work and CCS Employment Training)

Want2Work and Swansea Council Employment Training provide advice and guidance on training and employment opportunities, CV skills, volunteering opportunities and helping people with applications for local people.

IT Suite

A top quality ICT facility that organisations can run courses from, equipped with 12+ computers and photo quality printers. Call the Phoenix Centre to book or to find out what courses are running from there, such as Basic Itroduction to IT, Photoshop Skills, and File Managing.

Unit 3

Youth Justice Board

YJB work oversees and monitors the performance of the Youth Justice System in England and Wales. It works to prevent offending and reoffending by children and young people under the age of 18; and ensures that custody for them is safe, secure and addresses the causes of their offending behaviour.

The Swansea & Gower Talking Magazine provides, on tape/CD, local news based on the Evening Post, and other items of interest, for visually impaired people. There are some volunteering opportunities for anyone who wants to get involved.
